Alas, I have my Internet again. Which makes me very happy. I knew I wanted to not spend so much time on the Internet, but I'm still glad to have it back. Because not having it was just pure sadness. I mean, yes I can use the Internet at school or at friends houses; but at school I can't go on AIM, and at friends places they usually get annoyed if I'm on their computer too long.

I applied to college this week. I still have to pay my 80 dollar application fee or whatever; but at least the technical stuff is done. It feels really great to have that out of the way; now it's just a matter of waiting and seeing if I get into any of the places I applied to. I'm pretty sure I can get into Loyalist. Which is the college here in town. Of course, that's sort of my last choice school, but either way it'd be cheaper to stay in Belleville, anyway. Other places I applied to were Seneca (Toronto), Algonquin (Ottawa), Fleming (Peterborough) and St. Lawrence (Kingston). I think my top choice is Algonquin. I'd love to live in Ottawa. And than I'd be uber-close to where my dad lives, which would be really great.

Regardless; I'm excited about graduating this year. Staying in high school is starting to make me want to pull my hair out. I can't believe I decided to stay another full year. The first semester's almost done, and most of my friends at school will be going off since they only came back for one semester; so that sucks. But I'll still see them on weeknights or whatever.

Bleh, my foot is itchy.

So it's offically the new year. Should I be happy? I don't really care, personally (except that HBP comes out this year..), to me the new year just brings a bunch of new things to rush to get done. It's been so absolutly 'do this, get this done, you have to finish this and that!' yatta yatta yatta. There's just way too much that has to be finished, to be tended to, too many people to spend time with... it's taking time from stuff that I really love to do. Like reading. Writing. God, how I miss writing. I haven't written a real novel in like a year. Just too freaking much to do that gets in the way. 'Tis not fair, really. I need to take a break. From... life. Wouldn't that be nice, wouldn't that be fantastic. While I wish I could 'take a break from life', I guess I'll just have to settle for taking a break from the things I can cut back on. Like friends, guys, stuff like that. I need to spend more time at home, anyway, I want to spend more time at home. I miss my mum. I miss simple things. I miss spending lots of time on the Internet or reading.

Sigh. Hopefully things will simmer down after a while.

So, these last few days have felt really long. Lots and lots of working, and I'm dead tired. Last night after my nine hour shift I came home, hoping to go on AIM but it messed up on me, so I had no communication with the outside world. Didn't really matter. Half an hour later, he came and picked me up when he was done work and then we went to his house. Of course, I was tired, so I ended up falling asleep not to much later. He woke me up early this morning though, which annoyed me, because I'd much rather sleep in, but whatever. Regardless, I spent the morning there and he dropped me off back here when he had to go to work. Since today is my day off ^^

I'm excited. Haven't had a day off for a while now. And it's my only one this week. Besides Saturday of course. I even work Friday for crying out loud ><

Anyway, because I didn't get to go see Blade: Trinity last week, I'm hopefully going to go see it tonight with the guys. Or something. Maybe we'll just go eat and then go home. Regardless I still have to go and finish my Christmas shopping. Almost done, but I need to finish it. Either do it tonight, or I'll have to start finishing it on my dinner breaks. But I'd much rather eat dinner on my dinner break then shop. Christmas, hurry up and get gone, plzkthx.

Watched Dodgeball last night at his house. It was funny in a lazy, obvious sort of way. But some of the jokes weren't too bad - made me laugh really loudly. I was glad no one else was there at the time, 'cause I laugh in a really nerdy way. Snorting, it's not pretty. Regardless, it was mindless funny. I also talked him into renting Saved (partly because of the fabulous Mandy Moore) and it was awesome. I loved it. Funny, satire-ific, just awesome. Mandy Moore made me giggle. We watched that this morning though, as I was pretty much dead last night. Besides, it was nice to just hang out for a while, especially since we won't be able to again this week except at work. But 'tis the season, I guess. Bleh. I can't wait until this week is over.

But still...

So, I'm tired. I stayed up late last night watching Can't Hardly Wait and Pleasantville with some of the guys and Dave's girlfriend, Jenn. 'Twas fun. I lurve those movies like whoa. Reese Witherspoon is freaking adorable. Now I wanna see Vanity Fair.

Anyway, I have to work again today. Too. Much. Work. BLEH. I'd say at least today I'll probably have fun, but being called a midget by your manager is only so funny. But yeah, teh sex is working this afternoon with me, so that's all good.

Alas I don't have much else to say. Except I really need to get everyone's Christmas gifts bought soon. Shannon offered to take me to Kingston with her and her sister next weekend, but alas - I'll still be working! Bleh. It's too bad actually, I really would have wanted to go to Kingston to shop. I love Kingston. And add that to shopping is like bonus.

Hm htere was no real point in updating this. Except I had nothing else to do, really. So, that's that!

ETS: I wish, I wish I knew how to make a layout. I really, really do. Maybe I can find someone to make one for me. Or I'll just... not. Heh.
